Confirmation

What is confirmation?

Whether you're new to the faith or were baptized into it as a infant/child, confirmation is a rite of the church where the young and old spend time to study in depth what we Christians have confessed to be true.

Together, we work through the Scriptures in order to trace out God's salvation history as recorded for us. Accompanying our study of the Bible is Luther's Small Catechism which is split up into six parts which concisely speak to what Christians have always believed and confessed to be true: The 10 Commandments, the Apostles' Creed, the Lord's Prayer, Holy Baptism, Confession and Absolution, and the Lord's Supper.

How do you know if Confirmation is for you?

If you were baptized as an infant or young child, naturally confirmation is the next step in learning and growing into your faith.

If you're wanting to know more about the Christian faith for the first time, you'll want to pursue Baptism and Confirmation.

If you've been baptized and are looking to join our church then Confirmation is for you.
